HI ALL

How fun is it , It's the weekend  It's raining but I dont care.
As you know I'm a graphic designer that kind of ditched a lot of computer time to make
handmade leather jewelry & handbags.

I've always been a fan of the old technology, I'm a nostalgic girl I know,
I have an old radio that my grandfather left me,

I have an amazing German typewriter from the 30's - erika.

And I'll continue collecting more because I think there's a lot of beauty in them.
And for craftwork I'll always appreciate more the thing that are handmade cause there's a lot of soul in them.

So to all the craftwork fans out there here's a beautiful video that made me gasp, so inspiring

The Wonders Of Fotoshop

HI ALL

We all know fotoshop.

For some it's a great tool to work with as a graphic designer, (one of the greatest if i might add)...

and for others it's also the greatest tool ever, for makeovers.

Nowadays it's uncertain to figure out if you've been foroshoped or not, we just assume that each

image we see on the magazines are fotoshoped, and in most cases they are.

here is a cool video that takes this all fotoshop issue to another level....

INSPIRATION EVERYWHERE

Hello again

Last week started with a smile, a busy week but still inspiring.
I've started the advanced handbag making course and these days I'm starting to collect my thoughts
for a new collection.
So with exploring the net hoping to find something that will give me that great idea,
I'm finding also great stuff that makes my jaw to drop, literally.
These images below came from Dezeen.com and are of an hotel in Hamburg,
It is so beautiful and so graphic, I absolutely adore people who actually think about the design
of a place or anything in a matter of fact.
As a graphic designer I can ensure you that I'ts not that obvious.

Days Of Summer

HI ALL

I'ts been a while since i wrote something...sorry.
I'ts hectic times, but here I am again after a small vecation
and with a lot on my hands and mind and I will share with you the last month activities...

First of all vacation
In a spontaneous act, we packed a bag and went to Eilat.
Usually I don't go there, the last time I was there was 2004, so as you can see I'm not a big fan
But I'ts close and Relatively cheap and in the end it was exactly what we needed a lot of sea & sun.

Peace, quiet & books is the only thing you need to relax.

Till the next vacation that hopefully we'll  happen soon enough

היום העלתי שרשרת חדשה לחנות האון ליין שלי Etsy שרשרת שעשויה מחוטי עור בצבע חום טבעי שזורה עם חוט מוזהב.

אני משתדלת לעלות כל יום משהו חדש.

כרגע אני עובדת על קולקציה שמתגבשת לה במהירות וכבר יש לי מחשבות על קולקציה נוספת...

זה מרגיש מעולה! היצרתיות הזאת, זה מחזיר אותי לאותם ימים יצרתיים בבצלאל וזה כייף!!!

כמובן שזה שאני עושה גם קורס תיקים בגילדה ממש עוזר ליצרתיות ולמוטיבציית העשייה.

בקרוב העלה תמונות מהקורס ואת התיק הראשון שעשיתי.

Isn't That A Fab???

I don't remember if I told you all yet that I'm taking a handbag design course at the "Guild",
It's a private school for accessories and shoes. It's great great great!
I absolutely love it.
So lately I've started looking at bags a bit different, looking at the stiches, the buckles, the type of leather,
examining it inside out, trying to figure out how to do this and that.
Our teacher allways gives us list of things to look up online, one of the things was the making of a Birkin bag
which I find mesmerizing...here have a look, you'll know what I'm talking about.
